Job Description
Inside Sales Associate is responsible for generating revenue and profits for the company. This will include, but will not be limited to: calling existing business customers, and acquiring new business from pre-qualified leads and potential new customers. A majority of calls will be made to follow up with customers that we have visited within the past 30 days to help them move forward with a quote one of our technician has already provided to them. This will also include handling inbound calls from customers looking for a phone quote.
As a side note, we referr to this position as the Dr. Yes position. We call this person Dr. Yes because this person will have the distinct job of selling who have said NO at some point to one of or other company associates and turning their initial NO into a YES.
Job Duties
- Review customer’s needs and provide them with good, better and best scenarios
- Distribute quotations in timely manner to homeowners
- Demonstrates technical expertise and maintains a high level of credibility.
- A detailed estimate must be completed in excel which not only determines sale prices, but also determines the labor that is required to complete the work.
- Positively and credibly influences service strategies with homeowners.
- Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
- Once customer has accepted proposal must prepare paperwork for installation/repair detailing the work and material that is required.
- Insure all working documents and data are maintained to backup estimate figures.
- Effectively writes, and presents proposals.
- Negotiates value, addresses resistance and closes the sale.
Job Requirements
- 3-years sales experience
- Experience and trained in the residential repair/replacement and add-on sales market
- Experience on the estimating.
- Have extensive technical knowledge on the design, and installation of parts/equipment.
- Prior success in the industry with awareness of industry and technical material
- Great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Strong relationship building skills, customer focused and disciplined
- Strong needs-based sales skills and a passion for excellence
- Working knowledge of MS computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
