We currently have an opening for 2 HVAC/pluming apprentices.  At this company our apprentices do move around in both trades as needed.  When you’re an apprentice at Perfect Home Services you are respected.  If you are a fit for us then you are literally the future of the company.  We will treat you that way and we will train you to be one of the greatest in the industry.  Unlike most contractors we don’t treat the apprentice like dirt.  At the same time we do expect the apprentices to prove they fit.  We expect them to be the most flexible and hardest working people in the company.  We want them to prove they have a solid work ethic and put a high priority on their career.  All field team members are expected to participate in an on-call rotation and be available to work for each 24 hour period that they are on call.  Those calls can come in at any time day or night.  We do welcome our apprentices to ride along with lead techs/installers during times that we don’t have paid work for them although we certainly don’t expect for them to do that.  The faster an apprentice grows their skillset, the faster they become a lead here.  When you have the skill to become a lead, we move you in to a lead position.  You move up here based on skill, not time served.  Teamwork is an important part of our culture.  We require all field team members to be team players.  Showing up on time and being ready and available to work is a critical part of our expectation for all field team members.  If you don’t have a strong mechanical aptitude (naturally good at figuring out how to fix mechanical things) then being a technician probably isn’t the right role for you.  If you’re not scared off yet and you feel like you can fit our needs and are willing to work hard to become one of the greatest in our industry then I want to meet you.  If you join our team we will provide you with the ability to make top industry pay.  Lastly, for the right candidate, we offer something more valuable than money or training and that’s a great career environment in which you can truly love what you do and the company you work for.  Most of the people who work here would tell you that they love their career and the company they work for.  It may seem a little fluffy, but being happy at work is probably more valuable than you may realize until you really think about it.  We can truly offer all of those things to the people that fit our mold.

 

What I need:

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients
  • Ability to provide your own basic hand tools necessary to perform job duties
